in appellate courts. The firm was founded by Marc J. Kaplan, an attorney
now practicing in his twenty first year in the Denver metropolitan area.

Marc J. Kaplan is a practicing trial lawyer, special master and arbitrator. Having been certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, Mr. Kaplan is a formidable advocate in court. Mr. Kaplan provides to the firm expertise in civil litigation and appeals, including complex divorces. Mr. Kaplan practices in all civil areas of the law, but primarily in the areas of family law and legal malpractice.
Associate Attorney Julia M. Purchase is primarily responsible for the firm's research and writing, and yet offers clients quality work at a lower cost than the more senior attorneys. Ms. Purchase graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Psychology, with honors, and is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center.
Paralegal Jodie Dominguez-Paris is the most valuable member of the Kaplan Law team. Ms. Dominguez-Paris is the one most clients talk to, and she has knowledge of the day to day events happening in almost each of the cases handled by the firm. Ms. Dominguez-Paris is the one person in the firm who is always available, and ends up befriending every client no matter how difficult the circumstances the client is suffering through.
